A trip of a lifetime

I can't believe it is finally here! Tomorrow morning at 9:30 I am starting out on a trip of a lifetime. Three weeks + of riding around the country.
The basic plan is to head out to Sturgis for a most of next week. We will be visiting the sights around there.
Then we are going to head across the rockies to see the great salt lake and the salt flats.
Next is a ride down the rockies to the grand canyon. One of the guys I am riding with has a friend with a camp on a mountain overlooking the canyon. A free stop with a view, can't get much better than that.
From the grand canyon we plan on heading across rt 66 for awhile before heading south to the gulf coast.
The last leg of the trip will be heading north up the appalachian mts back to Massachusetts.

Still can't believe this trip is happening.

I have a friend who has 4 extra free tickets for the Robbie Knievel(son of Evil Knievel) event at the Ford Center this weekend in Beaumont , Texas , if anybody wants them ...........

He's going to try to jump 10,000 Obama supporters with a bulldozer.

He wanted to try to jump 100,000 but the other 90,000 had to get in line for a government handout.

Should still be a good time.

A Saturday without rain!

This Saturday was the first day without rain in seems like forever. I dropped the cage off at the shop to have the oil and brakes changed. I then jumped on the bike with my wife for a little ride.
We stopped off at the HD dealer cause my wife just didn’t have anything to wear for the 4th of July trip to Maine (I still don’t understand why last years shirts won’t do). In the beautiful weather seem to me like a waste of time waiting around for her to pick out cloths. When she finished we had enough time to ride the back roads for a couple of hours before having to get home. Was nice to ride again on a warm dry day. Sunday it was right back to rain and drizzle, looks like it will be that way next weekend also. What a shitty spring we are having up in the Northeast. This global warming thing is making it so chilly and rainy.

It's mine

Some days it seems like all that is in the mailbox is bills and more bills.
Last Thursday I had a little surprise waiting for me in there.
I finally received the title to my bike. It is mine now! 100% paid.

President's news conference

Fox has announced it will not carry the President's new conference. It will instead air it's show "Lie to Me".
